1. Why are you having an academic conference about U2?
Considering the enormous success and influence U2 has had during their 30+ year career in the worlds of music, live entertainment, popular culture, humanitarian work and the global politics of peace and social justice, we think a critical mass of interest exists for bringing together people from various fields to discuss the music, work and influence of U2. We’re looking forward to having the first academic conference on U2.
2. How do I attend the conference?

3. Will U2 be at the conference?
We have notified U2 of the conference and have extended an invitation to them to attend. At this time, we have not received word of their intentions.
4. How can I learn more about U2 in preparation for the conference?
